The ENERGy project is a project of the 6th Call of the European programme ITEA2 (Information Technology for European Advancement).

ITEA2 is a strategic programme set up to stimulate pre-competitive research and development and dedicated to "software for software intensive systems". ITEA2's vision is to give Europe a leading edge in embedded and distributed software and use this advantage to secure Europe's future in an increasingly competitive world. ITEA2's industry-driven research is already having a considerable impact on government, research, business and consumers.
